The Atlantic District in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a General Agency Principal to lead a team of insurance professionals and drive local growth. You’ll coach agents, oversee operations, and partner with headquarters on new product rollouts to expand our footprint in the Mechanicsville area.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in agency leadership or high-level sales, an active Virginia life/health license, and a proven ability to build teams, manage complex workflows, and foster community

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.
• Five or more years of agency management or high-level insurance sales.
• Proven track record of building and mentoring successful sales teams.
• Deep knowledge of life insurance products and market strategies.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex operational workflows.
• Proficiency in industry-standard agency management software.
• Deep roots or strong networking connections within the Mechanicsville, Virginia area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of insurance professionals to reach their personal and professional goals.
• Develop and execute local growth strategies to expand our footprint within the Mechanicsville region.
• Mentor junior agents by providing ongoing training, guidance, and constructive feedback.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure high levels of productivity and compliance.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and community members.
• Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure the agency consistently hits its targets.
