Job summary

Indigo Real Estate is seeking an experienced Community Director for the Seattle/Capitol Hill area who is passionate about customer service and thriving in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and a focus on resident relations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, with occasional weekend/holiday work.

Applicants should have 2+ years of property management experience and working knowledge of Yardi and RentCafe; a proactive, collaborative work style

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of property management experience.
• Presently or recently employed with a property management company.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills.
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi and RentCafe.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control, and direct day-to-day property operations.
• Maintain effective resident relations and ensure safety.
• Meet corporate financial objectives and comply with housing standards.
• Train and manage personnel; lease, collect, report, and budget.
• Assist marketing efforts and update ads/listings.
• Prepare materials for annual budgets and monitor costs.
• Support Investment Manager and other duties as assigned.
