Job summary

Indigo Real Estate in Kirkland, WA seeks an experienced Assistant Community Director for affordable housing to oversee day-to-day property operations, leasing, resident services, and reporting. You will supervise a team, manage budgets, ensure LIHTC compliance, and coordinate marketing, vendor bids, and site safety.

We require strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years property management experience
• Experience with LIHTC and affordable housing
• Strong communication, written and verbal
• Extremely organized and structured
• Ability to manage multiple communities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the property and maintain resident relations
• Structure and manage office workflow and organization
• Meet corporate financial objectives and ensure compliance with fair housing standards
• Handle leasing, collections, resident services, budgeting, and reporting
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Coordinate marketing, ads, and listings with ILS platforms
• Prepare materials for annual budgets and monitor cost center expenditures
• Support the Community Director and operate across multiple sites
