Job summary

Velo Residential in Dallas, TX is seeking a Community Director to lead daily operations of our Dallas community, uphold company culture, and maximize occupancy while delivering excellent resident services.

You will supervise on-site staff, coordinate budgeting, leasing, maintenance, and safety programs, and report to the Regional Manager. This role requires at least 3 years of multifamily property management experience, strong leadership, and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a multifamily property or high-volume community.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation of annual budgets and monitor adherence.
• Ensure rents are collected on time and posted promptly.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor communications and certificates of insurance.
• Perform evictions as required on delinquent rents.
• Prepare rental rate recommendations for Regional Manager.
• Lead on-site staff training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Attend scheduled corporate management meetings and submit reports.
• Maintain lease files and ensure model apartment readiness.
• Maintain resident relations and manage service requests and complaints.
• Walk the community to monitor maintenance and vacancy status.
