Velo Residential in Fort Worth seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Community Director in coordinating staff, resources, leasing, and resident relations, with a focus on maximizing occupancy and upholding the community’s values.

You will handle administrative duties, budgeting, monthly reporting, vendor communications, move-ins/outs, and market the community to prospective residents, delivering friendly, professional service in English and Spanish when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of multifamily property management experience including leasing, resident relations, collections, and daily operations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication, able to handle difficult resident situations professionally.
• Reliable, accountable, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented; able to support the Community Director and lead when needed.
• English and Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain occupancy levels and uphold community values.
• Ensure rent collection and timely posting; manage deposits and banking.
• Coordinate with the Community Director and vendors; review invoices and manage contracts.
• Maintain lease files and prepare required reports for corporate.
• Support safety initiatives and report incidents promptly.
• Assist with marketing/leasing: show units, answer inquiries, and complete paperwork.
• Inspect property and coordinate maintenance with lead staff.
