Job summary

Associa in Chicago seeks a Community Director to guide community managers and leadership teams across our client portfolio. You will drive client satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance while mentoring managers and shaping branch operations.

In this role you’ll oversee governance, budgeting, and strategic planning, partner with Boards, and foster a culture of accountability and professional development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of community association or related operational leadership experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and community stakeholders.
• Designation such as CMCA/AMS/PCAM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to Community Managers and Assistant Directors.
• Oversee client relations, retention, and satisfaction with boards.
• Monitor branch operations and performance metrics.
• Manage budgeting, financial oversight, and reserve planning.
• Lead talent acquisition and training for community teams.
• Support strategic planning and business development initiatives.
