Job summary

Prime Residential in Fremont, CA is seeking a Community Director for Camden to maximize long-term performance. You will lead a diverse property management team, manage budgets, and drive occupancy while ensuring resident satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking, plus knowledge of fair housing and local laws. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm, with a base pay of $81,700 annually and eligible performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of property management experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of employment, fair housing, and landlord/tenant laws.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and team-building skills.
• Strong financial, marketing, and customer service expertise.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, engage, and retain a diverse team of property management professionals.
• Hold regular staff and individual meetings to maintain team culture and progress toward goals.
• Develop effective marketing plans, monitor property appearance, and evaluate cost per lease and traffic strategies.
• Ensure all associates understand the competitive environment and adjust market rents proactively.
• Anticipate market changes and make strategic adjustments.
• Establish and prepare comprehensive operating budgets with input from key team leaders.
• Review weekly updates to address occupancy and future exposure.
• Conduct weekly inspections of the property to evaluate conditions and report risks or service needs.
• Monitor and maintain community goals for resident satisfaction and retention.
• Stay current on local market conditions, trends, and forecasts.
• Identify and implement marketing campaigns to generate traffic and leases.
• Conduct and lead competitive property assessments through online research, digital tours, and market data reviews.
• Build and maintain a customer-focused culture of respect, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Respond to resident and prospect inquiries with professionalism and confidence.
• Participate in resident relationship-building activities and monthly renewal programs.
• Establish leasing and maintenance goals and ensure timely delivery of required reports.
• Adhere to company protocols for vendor and contract management and ensure compliance with training requirements.
