Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond offers a Summer Internship Program with the Community Development team. You will support data analysis, program planning, and the execution of events to strengthen financial inclusion and workforce pathways for Fifth District communities.

You will learn from community development professionals, engage with external audiences, and participate in mentorship and exclusive networking opportunities through workshops, conferences, and site visits.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a college student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Significant economics coursework required.
• Economics major with some public engagement or education background is ideal.
• Familiarity with the Federal Reserve System and basic research techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist department with development and design of resources and programs.
• Support planning and management of meetings, workshops, conferences and events.
• Help develop innovative marketing and communication materials.
• Prepare resource and handout packets for presentations.
