TASC, Inc. is seeking a Deflection Specialist to join the Empower Deflection Initiative headquartered in Illinois. You will connect with clients in targeted communities to deliver outreach, education, and training on substance use topics and health resources.

In this role you will provide direct client services, build partner relations, and train staff and community partners on program goals, including naloxone distribution and Medicaid enrollment assistance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; CADC preferred at time of hire.
• Experience in outreach and delivering trainings is desired.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Provide assertive outreach activities for participants.
• Make referrals to essential direct services including treatment and housing.
• Attend events to educate and raise awareness on diversion and SUD issues.
• Assist enrollment for Medicaid for uninsured individuals when needed.
• Maintain relationships with partners, providers, and law enforcement.
• Deliver ongoing trainings on program goals and naloxone distribution.
