United Way of Southern Nevada Inc. seeks a Manager of Community Data and Insights to lead data strategy for SNV-SID, coordinating with DAG and the Community Resiliency Coalition to harmonize indicators across education, mobility, and funding.

You will translate datasets into interactive dashboards and public resources, guiding data-driven funding decisions. This role partners with external consultants to develop AI-assisted data tools and ensure data quality, privacy, and timely quarterly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, social sciences, data science, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a research, data strategy, MERL, or evaluation-focused position.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating or facilitating multi-stakeholder coalitions, advisory groups, or community working groups.
• Proven ability to execute data collection strategies, synthesize mixed-methods research, and translate raw data into compelling visual narratives.
• Familiarity with the architecture of community data ecosystems, open-data platforms, or regional indicator dashboards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human service strategies, social determinants of health, and interventions impacting low-income populations.
• Ability to train diverse groups and provide tailored technical assistance on data literacy and platform adoption.
• Strong writing, organization, and public speaking skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Convene and coordinate the Data Advisory Group (DAG) and Community Resiliency Coalition to establish regional data governance standards, define privacy boundaries, and build trust among 100+ community partners to share operational and community need data.
• Research successful national community dashboards and collaborate with leadership to build UWSN's Interconnected Portfolios, including the Community Indicator Dashboards and the Sector Funding Insights dashboard.
• Partner closely with UWSN's Technical Product Lead to translate raw community datasets into actionable, live dashboards and assist in AI chatbot implementation for data interpretation.
• Identify, aggregate, and monitor community-level datasets to map regional funding footprints, surface service deserts, and identify philanthropic overlaps.
• Manage data-sharing agreements with partners, cleaning and documenting incoming datasets, and privacy checks before publication.
• Manage and execute quarterly impact reporting for internal Community Impact programs and milestones.
• Provide aggregate trends to Internal/External teams for policy briefs and donor communications.
• Implement capacity-building strategies to embed data tracking in daily operations.
