Job summary

Centre, Inc. is seeking a Community Corrections Specialist in Mandan, ND to support residential reentry programs and engage residents in daily supervision, documentation, and accountability.

This role emphasizes safety, structure, and rehabilitation within a community corrections setting. The ideal candidate will have some college in Criminal Justice or related field and at least two years' experience with criminal justice treatment programs, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Some college education focused in Criminal Justice, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates who possess at least two years of experience working with criminal justice treatment programs.
• Effective communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with computers, including the internet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Signing residents in and out of the facility and verifying approved movements.
• Confirming employment schedules and other approved activities.
• Monitoring resident accountability through GPS systems and other tracking tools.
• Conducting breath tests, urinalysis testing, and other compliance checks.
• Performing pat searches, room searches, and vehicle searches.
• Completing incident reports and documenting resident activity.
• Maintaining safety and security within the facility while interacting professionally with residents.
