Job summary

Intervention, Inc. in Pueblo, CO is seeking an entry-level Community Corrections Specialist for our residential facility. This full-time role entails direct work with justice-involved adults to help reenter the community, with full paid training provided and a clear career pathway into probation, parole, and case management.

The position starts at $19.10–$21.96 per hour, with a 7am-3:30pm schedule, located in Pueblo. High school diploma or equivalent required; no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to maintain firm, professional boundaries with residents.
• High attention to detail for precise legal and facility record-keeping.
• Must pass a standard criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Facility Safety: conduct routine rounds, headcounts, and security checks.
• Track Resident Compliance: log movements, sign-ins/outs, and curfew adherence.
• Enforce Accountability: administer routine urine drug screenings and breathalyzer tests.
• Maintain Records: complete accurate logbook documentation and incident reports.
• Support Reentry: assist residents with guidelines, chores, and resource access.
