Job summary

KenCrest is seeking a Community Coach Supervisor to ensure the health and safety of individuals served and to deliver needed services that support meaningful lives. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and staff growth while supervising Community Connection Coaches in Western Montgomery and Bucks County.

Hybrid position requiring about 60% field time, with one office day per week for payroll and administrative tasks at the Harvest location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 3 years of supervisory experience or Associate degree required with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Community-based IDD supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ISP implementation and outcomes for individuals and staff.
• Collaborate to monitor ISPs and ensure services are delivered as authorized.
• Attend annual ISP meetings and supervise assigned caseloads.
• Develop staff schedules and coordinate needs with individuals and families.
• Review and approve staff hours and travel reimbursements.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff.
• Develop performance improvement plans when needed.
• Lead quarterly staff meetings and participate in on-call rotations.
• Provide direct support coverage when necessary and support leadership duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Director.

The Community Coach Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of the individuals we support, as well as ensuring they receive the services necessary to live meaningful lives. The role focuses on enhancing collaboration among team members and strengthening their ability to work effectively toward shared goals. This is achieved through strong communication, facilitating teamwork, and supporting ongoing growth and professional development. The Community Coach Supervisor is responsible for the management, supervision, and training of Community Connection Coaches, while incorporating KenCrest’s PRIDE values. This includes fostering a supportive work environment, applying reflective practice principles, and providing coaching, mentoring, and encouragement to help staff perform at their best and navigate challenging situations.

This is a hybrid role. The Community Coach Supervisor is required to spend approximately 60% of their time in the field; coaching, mentoring, and training staff throughout Western Montgomery and Bucks County. The candidate must also report to the office at 930 Harvest one day per week, typically every other Monday, to manage payroll responsibilities and complete administrative tasks.

Some Essential Functions

• Assist supported individuals and Community Connection Coaches with implementing outcomes and action steps outlined in Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
• Collaborate with the Personal Outcome Champion to monitor documentation and regularly review ISPs to ensure all authorized services are being delivered
• Attend annual ISP meetings
• Supervise and monitor services for assigned caseloads
• Develop staff schedules and work with individuals and their families to align schedules with their needs
• Review and approve staff hours and travel reimbursements
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Community Connection Coaches
• Develop performance improvement plans as needed

• Participate in the on-call rotation and, when necessary, provide direct support coverage

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 3 years of supervisory experience, or Associate degree required with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Community-based IDD supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Ability to obtain acceptable criminal background and child abuse clearances in accordance with state requirements
