Job summary

City of Sedalia is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Sedalia Parks and Recreation at the Heckart Community Center. You will perform clerical duties, manage check-ins, registrations, and daily admissions while delivering high levels of customer service in a face-to-face environment.

You will answer phones, process payments, and assist with memberships and program registrations. Flexibility to work varied shifts and a team-oriented environment are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Experience with word processing, typing, and 10-key calculator is desirable.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet patrons, check-in, admit, and take registrations and payments for programs and memberships.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
• Assist with signups, memberships, admissions, and daily cash handling.
