Project for Pride in Living (PPL) seeks a community-centered Career Navigator to support adult learners in exploring education, training, and employment opportunities. This role provides individualized coaching and case management to help participants build career readiness through education, credentials, apprenticeships, and career pathways.

You’ll collaborate with nonprofits, colleges, and unions to gather information for participants’ career paths, conduct intakes and orientations, and

Qualificações

• BA/BS degree in related field; additional experience may substitute for education.
• 2+ years’ direct service experience in postsecondary counseling, employment services, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and database skills (MS Office, Google Drive, Zoom).

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 case management for participants, including weekly calls and/or face‑to‑face meetings.
• Manage an active caseload through enrollment, program activities, and exits.
• Work with external partners (nonprofits, colleges, universities, unions) to gather and present information for participants’ career paths.
• Conduct intakes, orientations, and informational sessions for potential participants.
• Contribute to creative program design and provide regular program status updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine procedures and processes benefiting participants.
• Network with employer and community partners to identify resources and training opportunities.
• Assist with marketing and recruitment services to promote PPL education and career readiness services.
