Job summary

Clarvida is seeking an Employment Specialist to provide IPS supported employment and education services to adults with mental health needs in community settings across California. You will help participants obtain and maintain competitive employment aligned with their goals.

The role requires engaging employers, developing individualized plans, and conducting regular employer contacts, with strong collaboration with treatment teams and natural supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in job coaching or related field.
• Experience with IPS supported employment principles preferred.
• Experience driving and meeting background checks requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants in community settings to build employment goals.
• Develop individualized employment plans reflecting participant preferences.
• Conduct minimum six in-person employer contacts weekly.
• Support participants with applications, resumes, interviews, onboarding.
• Coordinate with treatment teams and natural supports.
