River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking an Employment Specialist to engage clients, build collaborative paths to competitive employment, and coordinate with community resources. You will perform case management duties, provide outreach, and work with a treatment team to guide clients toward independent work opportunities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and experience in social services, including development disabilities and coaching.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a social service related field preferred.
• 2 years of Social Service or related experience.
• One year of experience working with Developmental Disabilities.
• At least 6 months job coaching experience.

Mansioni

• Engage clients and establish trusting, collaborative relationships directed toward competitive employment.
• Provide paraprofessional social services and participate in treatment team planning.
• Conduct job development and networking with community businesses for individualized placements.
• Make a minimum of 6 employer contacts per week.
• Assist clients with information about benefits and reporting earnings as needed.
• Provide follow-along support to maintain employment and coordinate services with VR.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in a social service related field

2 years of Social Service or related experience

One year of experience working with Developmental Disabilities
