Job summary

Riverwood Center in Southwest Michigan seeks a dedicated professional to support employment services for individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities. You will help clients obtain and sustain meaningful work aligned with recovery goals, with some weekend hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mental health or social services, business, personnel management, vocational services.
• One to two years’ experience assisting individuals with employment and prefer providing treatment to individuals with a mental illness and work independently.
• Must have reliable means of transportation for transporting consumers and maintain safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides Supported Employment services by assisting individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities to obtain and sustain employment that aligns with their vocational goals and recovery.
• Actual work hours may fluctuate and include weekend hours as part of a regular work schedule.

At Riverwood Center we have a team of caring and committed professionals providing a wide array of personalized services to individuals with behavioral health, intellectual & developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.
