Position Details

The Behavioral Specialist Will Be Responsible For

• Provide treatment to adults with ID or autism and a mental health diagnosis in a community setting
• Collaborate with other treatment team members, assess, design, and implement recovery-oriented, person-centered treatment and support plans
• Lead development and monitoring of behavioral support interventions or collaborate with external behavior support professionals
• Provide individual and group treatment and support, selecting modalities based on individual/family needs and treatment plans
• Collect, evaluate, and present behavioral data through functional behavioral assessments
• Conduct training related to implementing person-centered plans

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following Qualifications

• Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, applied behavior analysis, or a related health and human service field
• Licensed in PA or eligible as a Behavior Specialist (LBS), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
• Experience in behavioral health working with individuals with mental health/developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid PA Driver's License
