Job summary

Embers Credit Union in Michigan is seeking a friendly Teller who will be the first face members meet in person or on the phone, delivering warm, attentive service while handling a wide range of transactional needs.

You’ll balance cash, assist with deposits and withdrawals, answer questions, and promote Embers products to support members’ financial well‑being, all while upholding privacy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service or cash handling experience preferred.
• Familiarity with credit union operations is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers with accuracy and professionalism.
• Balance daily transactions and resolve discrepancies to maintain security.
• Answer questions, assist with account updates and in-person/phone inquiries.
• Promote Embers products and services to strengthen member relationships.
• Uphold compliance and confidentiality in handling currency and instruments.
• Create a welcoming lobby and represent Embers with professionalism.
• Support additional clerical tasks and branch operations as assigned.
