Embers Credit Union in Munising, MI is seeking a Relationship Banker to become a trusted resource for members across in-person, online, or phone channels. You’ll open new accounts, assist with lending, and recommend products with warmth and professionalism to build lasting financial relationships.

You’ll work closely with members to understand needs, process consumer loans, handle account maintenance, and promote Embers products while ensuring accuracy and compliance in every interaction.

Qualifications

• One to three years of credit union or banking experience.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities.

Responsabilités

• Build and deepen member relationships by understanding financial needs and recommending tailored products and services.
• Originate and process consumer loans by interviewing members, evaluating creditworthiness, and processing within policy.
• Provide professional member support across channels with problem-solving and guidance.
• Promote Embers products and services to support members' financial well-being.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transactions and documentation.
• Represent Embers in the community to strengthen local visibility and trust.
• Ensure compliance and confidentiality of member data and account information.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals.
