Job summary

Honor Credit Union in Allendale, Michigan, is seeking a Teller to provide excellent member service while handling routine banking transactions. You’ll balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and support the branch team with accuracy and a friendly attitude.

The ideal candidate has cash handling or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to helping members achieve financial success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling and customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Well organized and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with processing teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, cash advances and other various requests.
• Maintain a high level of cash and confidential information security while balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals.
• Actively engage membership to identify unrealized financial needs and recommend effective solutions.
• Support branch growth by achieving established referral goals.
• Ensure members are promptly and professionally served.
