Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Community Banker in the Retail Banking department. The role involves providing excellent client service while processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions.

You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products that meet client needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include processing client transactions, balancing cash drawers, and ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banking, client service, or related field with cash handling experience.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Data entry using banking software and Microsoft 365 with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions professionally following policies and procedures.
• Accept payments and ensure accurate processing of tasks.
• Handle cashier’s checks, money orders, and related items; process receipts.
• Balance cash drawer and report cash differences and losses.
• Maintain security and document transactions; complete IRS forms for large currency reporting.
• Protect confidentiality of client information and negotiable instruments.
• Balance ATM balances and assist with cash management.
• Process foreign currency requests and identify potential fraud.
• Promote bank products and refer clients to appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with team to ensure excellent client experience.
