Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking an Associate Community Banker for the Atlantic, IA branch. The role focuses on delivering personalized client service, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the bank's service commitments aligned with the organization’s values.

Responsibilities include opening and maintaining a variety of accounts, handling teller transactions, and identifying opportunities to refer clients to Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, and Wealth Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Banking or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone.
• Opens and maintains checking/savings accounts, IRAs, CDs, and other products.
• Performs teller duties: deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, currency handling.
• Engages in conversations about and processes new consumer loan requests.
• Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business and documents activity.
• Builds client relationships through proactive outreach and follow-up.
