Job summary

First Interstate Bank seeks an Associate Community Banker to provide personalized client service and maintain client relationships in alignment with our service commitments. The position requires high school education, banking experience is preferred, and responsibilities include handling a range of accounts, teller duties, and proactive outreach to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; banking or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality in client conversations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, document referrals, and follow regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized client service in person and by phone; answer questions and provide solutions.
• Open and maintain checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, credit cards, and basic business accounts.
• Handle teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Discuss consumer loan needs and process requests.
• Identify referral opportunities to other bank services and document activity in the CRM.
