Job summary

Connex Credit Union is hiring a New Account Representative at the Monroe, CT branch to promote membership growth and expand member relationships under supervision. You will deliver outstanding service, identify financial needs, and drive business to the branch while maintaining a professional environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail or banking and an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Occasional after-hours calls and coverage for branch manager duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 3 years retail or banking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as financial advocate/coach for members to explore priorities and solutions.
• Drives loan volume by identifying member needs for appropriate products.
• Perform teller duties (approximately 30% of time) and provide service at the teller line.
• Works with members through the loan process from application to closing.
• Identify members' financial needs and assist in achieving goals.
• Serve as member’s primary contact for Credit Union matters.
• Researches and resolves member issues and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all credit union products, services, and procedures.
• Makes outbound calls to new and prospective members to build relationships.

Education
