Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Sheridan, WY is seeking a Community Banker to deliver personalized client service, determine needs, and provide tailored financial solutions. You will maintain client relationships, align with our Service Commitments, and uphold our vision and values.

Responsibilities include opening and maintaining checking/savings accounts, IRAs, CDs, and consumer/small business credit cards, plus processing loan requests and pursuing referrals across Home Loans, Treasury Solutions,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years banking or related experience required.
• Registered Mortgage Loan Originator per the SAFE Act within 30 days required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.
• Opens and maintains accounts (checking, savings, IRAs, CDs) and credit products.
• Holds financial conversations to assess needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Processes new consumer loan requests and may handle small business loan requests.
• Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business and documents activity in CRM.
