Job summary

Provident Savings Bank is seeking a Community Banker to deliver superior customer service at the Riverside retail banking center. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and daily balancing while actively cross-selling bank services to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Regulatory knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Post deposit and withdrawal transactions and balance cash drawer in accordance with Regulation CC.
• Maintain and balance cash drawer daily; assist in proofing daily transactions as needed.
• Process money orders, cashier checks, and loan payments; collect service fees; support merchant transactions.
• Cross-sell bank services and products; build and maintain a pipeline of new business relationships.
• Explain decisions clearly to customers and maintain professional communication throughout interactions.
• Adhere to security procedures including opening/closing, dual controls, and confidentiality of data.
• Travel between branches to support operational or staffing needs as required.
• Handle daily mail, deposits, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
