Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Personal Banker in Riverside, CA. The role focuses on delivering outstanding client experiences, growing deposits and loans, and cross-selling banking products to individuals and small businesses.

You will open accounts, originate consumer loans, and provide referrals to partners as needed. On-site duties require strong cash handling and a customer-first approach in a vibrant community bank environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Teller or other banking experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of Consumer products and services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in consumer lending.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience by adhering to Breakthrough Client Experience Standards.
• Acquire new and expand existing client relationships by identifying needs and offering appropriate products and services.
• Refer clients to internal partners when needed and uncover lending opportunities (consumer and small business).
• Open consumer and business accounts for new and existing clients and originate loans independently or with minimal assistance.
• Provide proactive solutions and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Support Teller functions and cash handling when needed; contribute to a team-oriented branch environment.
