Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Community Banker to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships at our Casper East location. You will engage clients, assess their banking needs, and propose solutions across checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, and credit products.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, cross-selling opportunities, and adherence to regulatory standards. A Mortgage Loan Originator license is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years banking or related experience required.
• Registered Mortgage Loan Originator per the SAFE Act within 30 days required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.
• Opens and maintains products including consumer and business checking and savings accounts, IRAs, CDs, and credit cards.
• Holds financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Processes new consumer loan requests and may engage in small business loan discussions.
• Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business and documents referrals and client activity.
• Builds client relationships through outbound outreach and proactive engagement.
• Performs Teller duties, including deposits, withdrawals, and cash handling.
• Stays compliant with bank regulations and policies.
