Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.
• Knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures. Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
• Three years of experience in a financial institution, lending, sales, or member service environment. Knowledge of the Southaven market and an established presence or involvement in the local community is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for serving the local community and developing new business relationships.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members to the Credit Union and provide prompt, accurate service.
• Interview loan and new member applicants to collect information and identify financial needs.
• Assist with marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and local community outreach for branch growth.
• Build relationships with members, local businesses, schools, and community organizations to strengthen the branch presence.
• Promote and explain Credit Union products during account openings and loan applications.
• Support branch sales initiatives and teller referrals.
• Cross-train in the Assistant Branch Manager role.
• Process member transactions in the teller area as needed.
• Represent Orion Financial at community events and partnerships to grow relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
