Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Coeur d'Alene, ID is seeking a Community Banker to deliver personalized client service, build and maintain client relationships, and identify loan and deposit solutions. You will assist with consumer and small business products while following bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, processing loan requests, referring clients to other lines of business, and participating in community activities.

Qualifications

• GED or higher required.
• 1-3 years banking or related experience.
• Registered Mortgage Loan Originator per the SAFE Act within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides personalized client service in person and by phone.
• Opens and maintains checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, and credit cards.
• Identifies client needs and offers appropriate solutions.
• Processes consumer loan applications; may handle small business loans.
• Documents referrals and client activity using 360 View.
• Performs teller duties and conducts transactions accurately.
• Participates in community and financial education efforts.
