Bridgewater State University is seeking a Community Assistant in Residence Life & Housing. The student employee will support residents, help with community activities, and assist with front-desk operations while adhering to safety protocols.
This role requires an undergraduate BSU student enrolled for at least six credits for Fall 2026, with strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Work up to 10 hours weekly and participate in trainings and staff meetings.

Community Assistant
Residence Life & Housing ( RLH ) provides a safe, inclusive, & quality residential experience where access to programs, services, & staff fosters a sense of community in an environment conducive to learning.
The Community Assistant is a student employee within RLH responsible for student support, community development and operational functions within assigned residential areas. This role focuses on fostering engagement, enhancing residential experience, and assisting with administrative related processes that contribute to a safe, inclusive, and well-managed community.
Community Assistants will serve as members of the RLH student employee team and work in partnership with Resident Assistants (RAs), Residential Safety Assistants (RSAs), and professional staff to promote a strong residential environment.
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
