Responsibilities

• Arrange, describe, rehouse, preserve, create finding aids, catalog, and make available archival collections and other materials.
• Assist in resolving cataloging problems and maintaining online catalogs; gather metadata and perform data entry.
• Plan with staff; assist education and other divisions with archival materials and outreach.
• Support reference services during library hours and conduct outreach activities.
• Monitor physical environment; report maintenance needs and coordinate with vendors.
• Provide guidance to individuals and organizations across Georgia on archival care.
