Job summary

DSI Real Estate Group is seeking a dedicated Community Apartment Manager for our East Side Madison, Wisconsin community. You will lead daily operations, oversee leasing, maintain occupancy, and ensure excellent resident service while building relationships with tenants and local partners.

The successful candidate will have at least 3–5 years in property management, strong communication, and proficiency with Rent Manager and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3–5 years of property management experience.
• Experience managing a multi-building apartment complex preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and track record of exceeding expectations.
• Proficient with Rent Manager or similar property software, plus MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations and administrative management of the community.
• Manage leasing: tours, applications, leases, and move-ins.
• Maintain occupancy and tenant retention strategies.
• Provide outstanding service to residents, vendors, and staff.
• Generate lead and availability reports and monitor finances.
• Collaborate with corporate for annual budgets and invoicing.
• Inspect common areas and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Collect rents and assist with move-out, renewal or eviction procedures.
