Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Manager, Community Accounting to lead the accounting function for our continuing care communities. You will own the monthly and annual close, drive reporting quality, and manage a team of Senior Accountants to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities include establishing close cadences, coaching staff, ensuring internal controls, and coordinating with operations and FP&A to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–7 years of accounting leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and general ledger accounting.
• Experience leading a team of accountants and driving process improvements.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly and annual GL close and financial reporting for assigned communities.
• Establish operating cadence and workload distribution for the team.
• Review and approve journals and financial statements for accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead a team of Senior Accountants and drive development and performance management.
• Lead audit readiness and ensure policy compliance across communities.
