Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking a Front Desk Specialist for the Eastland Prosperity Center in Columbus, OH. You will be the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and partners, guiding intake, referrals, and information with a welcoming, respectful approach.

You will handle check-ins, appointments, and forms, answer phone inquiries, and coordinate with on-site partners while maintaining data accuracy and privacy safeguards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments (phone, in-person, or online) is preferred.
• Ability to maintain calm, professional interactions with diverse customers.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software/tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, visitors, and partners and direct them as needed.
• Assist with intake, data entry, and referrals; maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate check-ins, appointments, and forms; answer phone inquiries and route appropriately.
• Provide warm handoffs to internal teams and partner organizations; escalate issues as needed.
