The Planet Group is seeking a remote Communications Specialist (Change Management) to join one of our clients, a leading professional services firm.
- Location: Fully Remote (qualified candidates must be US citizens and located within the US; EST hours)
- Pay Rate: $50-60/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication plans supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
- Create engaging content for newsletters, emails, social media, and websites.
- Collaborate with teams to gather information and craft compelling messages.
- Manage communication channels, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate effectiveness.
- Support internal stakeholders with communication best practices.
- Assist in crisis communication, including drafting statements and coordinating responses.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new communication tools.
- Uphold the firm’s standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, especially change management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills.
- Proficiency with communication tools and platforms.
- Experience with social media management and analytics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in Big 4 or professional services is a plus.
