Job summary

The Center for Christian Virtue in Columbus, OH seeks a Communications Coordinator to run the communications department's day-to-day operations, manage Workamajig data, and provide production support for The Narrative podcast.

Reporting to the Communications Executive Director, the role coordinates with vendors, drafts emails, and maintains timely, professional communications while supporting mission-driven outreach.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of office experience; nonprofit experience a plus.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
• Print production knowledge preferred.
• Strong prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with project management software and digital tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workamajig project management system input and flag timelines.
• Support podcast production through research and briefing materials for hosts.
• Layout and format emails for production readiness before final review.
• Coordinate with printers and designers to meet delivery and budgets.
• Prepare reports tracking media mentions and departmental expenses.
• Administer calendar and email support for the Communications Executive Director.
• Monitor shared inboxes and route inquiries to correct contacts.
• Draft and edit division emails to maintain professional organizational voice.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
