Job summary

The Center for Christian Virtue seeks an Events Coordinator to help bring our mission to life by coordinating internal and external events, from donor gatherings to policy summits. You will work with the Events Director on logistics, vendor relations, and on-site event execution.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple moving parts, and flexibility for evenings or weekends as calendars require.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Entry‑level role with 0–2 years of hands‑on event planning experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills for high‑level donors and sponsors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with event registration platforms or CRM is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs; occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Events Director to plan and coordinate internal and external events.
  • Assist with event work plans, timelines, and logistical coordination including location selection, catering, venues, AV, speaker arrangements, staff and volunteers, setup/teardown, and on‑site management.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
  • Contribute to annual calendar planning and event strategy.
  • Oversee the events inbox, answer calls, and respond to voicemails.
  • Track sponsor and attendee registrations and log event expenses.
  • Assist in gathering attendee feedback and compiling reports on event outcomes.
  • Perform other duties to support CCV’s mission and values.
