Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a coordinator to manage all incoming and outgoing hospital communications. The role includes answering the emergency line, using paging systems, and providing answering service for physicians.

You will deploy pagers and process HIT requests during on-call periods, while attending departmental meetings. Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience in a hospital or call center setting, with basic computer skills and a 30 wpm typing

Qualifications

• One year customer service experience in a call center/hospital setting with basic computer skills and 30 wpm typing (preferred).
• Experience in handling patient or internal communications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all incoming and outgoing health system communications.
• Answer the internal hospital emergency 88 line; utilize overhead and digital paging systems.
• Perform answering service for selected physicians; pager deployment and HIT request processing during on-call periods.
