Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital seeks a Communication Liaison to advocate for patients and clients while coordinating with internal teams to ensure compassionate, clear communication in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

You will serve as the central hub for information flow, bridging front desk staff and clinical teams to minimize client stress and improve care coordination. This role emphasizes empathy, organizational excellence, and reliable, in-person presence across nights and weekends.

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and processes
• Commitment to exceptional customer service, high-quality care, and overall excellence
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills for in-person, telephone, video, email, and texting
• High emotional intelligence and personable communication style to serve clients and veterinary teams
• Strong active listening and empathy skills
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient and client advocacy and ensure clear information flow across hospital teams

About the Role

The Communication Liaison is a critical role in ensuring patient and client advocacy while coordinating with internal Team Members for the best possible outcomes for pets. In essence, you will be the "human touch" and organizational hub, ensuring clarity and compassion in high-stress veterinary environments.

A Day in the Life

• Client Communication: Facilitate the hospital team's ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication, including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
• Internal Coordination: Communicating client needs and concerns from "front of house" to "back of house" and vice versa
• Process Improvement: Developing and refining communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency. Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
