Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care is seeking a Client Experience Concierge to be the friendly face of our hospital, assisting clients during appointments, drop-off, and pick-up. You will coordinate with the Care Navigation Team to maintain a smooth, welcoming flow and ensure pets and clients feel cared for.

Ideal candidates bring customer-service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting while staying calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Comfort in hospital clinical environment required; experience in veterinary general practice preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service, high-quality care, and overall excellence.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy times.
• Clear and friendly verbal and written communication with clients.
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the guest experience for each client during hospital visits in the lobby, exam room, or visiting the pet.
• Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized experience for each client and their pet.
• Facilitate hospital teams' flow by updating and sharing information through the appropriate channels.
• Be the friendly and professional face of the Arista hospital.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable lobby and exam room environment.

About the Role

The Client Experience Concierge is the friendly point of contact for clients in the hospital during appointments, drop-off, pick-up, and visitation times.

A Day in the Life

• Focus on the guest experience for each client during any time that they are present in the hospital lobby, exam room area, or visiting their hospitalized pet
• Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
• Facilitate hospital teams' ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication, including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Comfort in hospital clinical environment required; Experience in veterinary general practice and specialty/emergency veterinary medicine preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Commitment to exceptional customer service, high-quality care, and overall excellence
• Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy times
• Ability to kindly and compassionately communicate with clients during times of stress
• Ability to calmly and professionally defuse tension and recognize when to seek appropriate support as needed
• Clear and friendly verbal and written communication skills (in-person, telephone, texting, etc)
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, lifting (up to 20lbs), carrying, and reaching
• Ability to work effectively in environments with noise, animal odors, and other sensory stimuli
• Ability to meet any position-specific screening requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
