Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care is hiring a Communication Liaison to serve as the human touchpoint in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. You will coordinate with front desk, care teams, and clients to ensure clear information flow, compassionate service, and smooth patient advocacy for every pet.

You’ll bring veterinary terminology knowledge, outstanding communication across in-person, phone, video, email, and text, plus empathy, organization, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and processes.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills for in-person, telephone, video, email, and texting.
• High emotional intelligence and personable communication style to serve pets owners and veterinary teams.
• Strong active listening and empathy skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client communications and ensure clear information flow between front of house and back of house.
• Coordinate with internal teams to advocate for pets and clients.
• Develop and refine communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency.
• Act as the client advocate with a friendly, professional voice for Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital.

About the Role

The Communication Liaison is a critical role in ensuring patient and client advocacy while coordinating with internal Team Members for the best possible outcomes for pets. In essence, you will be the "human touch" and organizational hub, ensuring clarity and compassion in high-stress veterinary environments.

A Day in the Life

• Client Communication: Facilitate the hospital team's ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication, including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
• Internal Coordination: Communicating client needs and concerns from "front of house" to "back of house" and vice versa
• Process Improvement: Developing and refining communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency. Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
