Job summary

Arista Advanced Pet Care in Plano seeks a Communication Liaison to act as the human touch in high-stress veterinary environments, ensuring clarity and compassion for patients, clients, and staff.

You will facilitate information flow, coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house needs, and help refine protocols to reduce client stress while supporting a collaborative team. Nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and processes.
• Excellent verbal & written communication for in-person, phone, video, email, and texting.
• Ability to work in-person nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hospital team communication flow through updates via appropriate channels.
• Coordinate client needs between front of house and back of house.
• Develop and refine communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency.
• Advocate for patients, acting as the friendly and professional voice of Arista Advanced Pet Care Hospital.

About the Role

The Communication Liaison is a critical role in ensuring patient and client advocacy while coordinating with internal Team Members for the best possible outcomes for pets. In essence, you will be the "human touch" and organizational hub, ensuring clarity and compassion in high-stress veterinary environments.

A Day in the Life

• Client Communication: Facilitate the hospital team's ability to work as efficiently as possible with minimal interruption by managing the flow of basic communication, including updates and information flow through the appropriate channels
• Internal Coordination: Communicating client needs and concerns from "front of house" to "back of house" and vice versa
• Process Improvement: Developing and refining communication protocols to reduce client stress and improve efficiency. Work closely with the Care Navigation Team to ensure a streamlined, well-organized, and comfortable experience for each client and their pet
