Job summary

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Communications Supervisor to manage front desk functions, answer resident requests, and coordinate staff coverage. You will support scheduling, staffing, and evaluations while keeping the Communications Manager informed of changes.

The role offers hourly compensation between $22.00 and $29.00, with benefits including health coverage, PTO, 401k matching, and on-site wellness resources. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Front Desk or receptionist experience is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, take requests, and follow up on work orders from residents and staff.
• Create, distribute and complete all work orders through the Service Max Program, generating reports as needed.
• Maintain the schedules and work orders for Housekeeping.
• Organize, maintain and update program records, including residential apartment and vendor information for billing purposes.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies for the department.

Role Overview

Join our team as a Communications Supervisor (Front Desk Supervisor), where you'll handle Communications Specialist duties while assisting with scheduling, staffing, and evaluations. You'll coordinate staff coverage and keep the Communications Manager informed of any changes, providing essential support along the way.

How you will make an impact

What you will need

• Front Desk, customer service, or receptionist experience is required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and residents
• Strong multi-tasking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
