Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned corporate communications leader to shape global messaging, lead executive communications, and manage high-visibility events across a distributed organization.

You will partner with the CEO, manage All Hands programs, coordinate with PR agencies, and drive content across intranet, email, Slack, video, and social channels while maintaining a warm, executive tone.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate communications in a global tech context.
• Experience partnering with C-level executives, especially CEOs.
• Ability to draft communications in a CEO’s voice.
• Expertise in virtual All Hands events, including content strategy and speaker management.
• Proven track record hiring and managing PR agencies globally.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Develop and manage the overall communications calendar, aligning messages and timing with business priorities and initiatives
• Own communications execution for product launches and company milestones, including executive transitions, reorganizations, and office openings
• Draft, curate, and distribute executive and internal communications across intranet, email, Slack, video, and executive social channels
• Partner directly with the CEO and other executives to develop and refine internal messaging, announcements, and thought leadership
• Develop a regular cadence of CEO communications and manage the ideation, drafting, and approval process
• Support top executives with cross-functional announcements
• Own the end-to-end strategy, content development, and production of global All Hands meetings
• Develop themes, presentation materials, technical logistics, and speaker management for virtual All Hands meetings
• Select, onboard, manage, and offboard PR agencies or freelancers in key markets
• Coordinate announcements and narratives with PR agencies and ensure accountability and narrative alignment
• Select, train, manage, and prepare spokespeople
• Draft press releases and collaborate on announcement strategy with the content/campaigns team and VP of Marketing
• Support the VP of Marketing in industry analyst relations during major industry events and Analyst Summit periods

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications in a global context, preferably within a high-growth technology company
• Proven ability to partner with and provide communications for C-level executives, particularly CEOs
• Ability to draft communications in a CEO’s unique voice
• Demonstrated expertise in virtual event production, specifically global All Hands meetings, including content strategy, technical execution, and speaker management
• Experience effectively hiring and managing PR agencies in a variety of regional markets
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to translate complex business and technical topics into clear, engaging content
• Meticulous attention to copy editing and meeting logistics
• Ability to deliver polished, top-down communications while maintaining a warm, friendly tone
• Experience and enthusiasm for using generative AI in ideating and drafting communications
• Experience operating in a highly distributed, global workforce
• Experience with corporate financial events
• Resourceful, high-velocity, proactive, self-starter mentality
• Must be based in the South Bay Area/Bay Area and able to work from the San Jose office at least two days a week
