Job summary

The Center for Christian Virtue in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Communications Coordinator to oversee the communications department workflow, manage projects in Workamajig, and support the Narrative podcast.

You will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, handle calendar and email support for the Communications Executive Director, and help produce timely, professional communications that reflect CCV's mission.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in an office setting; nonprofit experience is a plus.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• Strategic thinker who leverages AI to execute tasks efficiently.
• Baseline print production knowledge preferred.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency with project management software and digital tools.
• Precise organizational skills managing multiple vendor timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Workamajig project management system, ensuring accurate input and flagging late projects.
• Support The Narrative podcast by researching guests and preparing briefing materials for the host.
• Layout and format emails to ensure production-ready content.
• Coordinate with printers and designers as the main vendor contact.
• Prepare foundational reports, including media mentions and department expenses.
• Administer calendar and email support for the Communications Executive Director.
• Monitor shared inboxes and route inquiries to the correct internal contact.
• Draft and edit division emails to maintain a professional organizational voice.
• Other duties as assigned.
