Job summary

Center for Christian Virtue in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Finance & Operations Specialist to support daily financial operations, build analytical tools, and assist with dashboarding for leadership decisions. The role reports to the CFO and Finance Director.

This full-time, salaried position offers comprehensive benefits, including PTO, holidays, health/vision/dental insurance (CCV covers 75% of premiums), life insurance, and a 3% retirement match after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of finance, accounting, or data analysis experience; nonprofit setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and AI tools to streamline processes.
• Experience with QuickBooks (or similar) and nonprofit GAAP understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track all financial transactions related to CCV’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO).
• Build and maintain financial dashboards and variance analyses for leadership reviews.
• Support full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR); assist with reconciliations and bank deposits.
• Assist with documentation for internal and external audits and other duties as assigned.
