You will lead end‑to‑end social campaigns, shoot and edit Reels and YouTube Shorts, harness AI workflows for efficiency, and maintain a consistent CCV brand voice while engaging with our community in real time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or social media management for a mission-driven organization, brand, or political campaign.
• Journalistic background preferred; news gathering, editorial writing, or media relations valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Canva, and CapCut.

Responsibilities

• Draft copy for blogs, social posts, and emails that are factual, persuasive, and timely.
• Use AI-assisted tools to streamline content production and improve efficiency.
• Maintain CCV brand voice and engage with the community in real‑time.
• Direct, shoot, and edit Reels and YouTube Shorts that simplify policy issues for viral content.
• Create on-brand social graphics and assets that stand out in feeds.

Job description

Center for Christian Virtue’s Social Media Manager directs the daily digital strategy by combining journalistic storytelling with rapid-response multimedia production. This role is responsible for translating complex policy initiatives into digestible, viral content through Reels and YouTube Shorts, while managing the end-to-end lifecycle of all social campaigns. Additionally, this role utilizes AI-driven workflows to optimize content efficiency and audience scaling.

Reports to: Visual Communications Director

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Compensation: Full-time, Salaried/Exempt

Location: CCV Office in Columbus, Ohio, with Occasional Statewide Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize a journalistic approach to identify stories and draft copy for blogs, social posts, and emails that are factual, persuasive, and timely.
• IntegrateAI-assisted tools and workflowsto streamline content production, improve efficiency, and enhance creative output.
• Maintain a consistent CCV brand voice while engaging with our community and responding to current events in real-time.
• Direct, shoot, and edit engaging Reels and YouTube Shorts that simplify complex policy issues into digestible, viral content.
• Create compelling, on-brand social graphics and assets that stand out in a crowded feed.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ongoing social media campaigns that align with CCV’s work.
• Scale our audience through organic and paid strategies, providing the leadership team with actionable data insights.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years’ experience and a proven track record in communications, marketing, or social media management for a mission-driven organization, brand, or political campaign.
• Journalistic background preferred.Experience in newsgathering, editorial writing, or media relations is highly valued.
• Advanced proficiency inAdobe Creative Cloud(Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator),Canva, and mobile editing tools likeCapCut.
• Proficient in Artificial Intelligence (AI) andcomfortable leveraging generative AI for brainstorming, copy editing, and asset generation to maintain a high-frequency posting schedule.
• Strategic thinking with ademonstrated ability to manage multi-week campaigns that move specific organizational performance measures forward.
• Understanding of the policy issues impacting families, education, and faith communities in Ohio.

Character and Spiritual

• Mature Christian, currently attending or pursuing attendance in a local church.
• Agreement with and adherence to CCV’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct.
